If a brigadier general is afraid of lighting up firecracker, can his subordinates be trusted to protect people?

It’s the first weekend of 2017, on my way to a dinner event now 🙂

There were some girls who were watching a local YouTube channel on makeup.
I heard pearl powder and I asked:
“Isn’t that plankton in mussels?”
The girls tried to justify that Cleopatra uses it blah blah blah.

To mingle with the girls, I went on to search for Cleopatra using pearl powder.
I ended up reading about how Cleopatra seduced Julius Caesar and Mark Anthony.
The links further led me to pictures of coin artefacts depicting Cleopatra’s appearance.

The guys that she was with didn’t say that she looked good.
In fact, they were womanizers but they were with her because she was witty.

Cleopatra was manly given that she’s doing what no typical girls would do.
She needs the manly image in order to achieve her goals.
That said, the standard of beauty varies throughout history.

And yeah, I was supposed to be more like a girl and be more interested in makeup instead of these.
Supposed.

Cleopatra was an 18-year-old young girl when she came into power.
At the age of 18, in countries such as Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, England, France etc will get to vote.
But in Singapore, 18 is the age where guys are gonna go for NS when they can’t even vote on issues that affect our lives, our future, our transport, our healthcare, a roof over our head etc…

Every time I hear a guy saying that they can protect a girl…
The image of that brigadier general being afraid of lighting up firecracker flashes in my mind.
